Phil has over 35 years of experience in specialist and generalist HR, including HR contracting, consulting and HR management roles across a wide range of industries such as finance (superannuation, financial planning, mortgage brokering, debt management), public and private healthcare, research, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, medico-legal consulting, industrial technology, transport, local government, NFPs including animal welfare, social and youth work and VET sector roles.

He has held a number of senior executive HR roles such Head of Human Resources and has worked in a number of greenfield HR sites developing HR functions from the ground-up or assisting existing HR teams deliver both an efficient HR operational service and strategic HR through high engagement people-centred programs.

In recent year Phil has specialised in workplace culture diagnosis and culture change programs, performance turnarounds, M&A’s and management & leadership development. He has a track record over many years of delivering fit-for-purpose solutions for small to medium sized organisations with an emphasis on delivering quick changes in engagement, customer service and revenue/profit.

With a hands-on, pragmatic HR focus he has targeted practical, workable programs and strategies for time poor managers and leaders who need the bare bones of best practice HR management.
