Educators

Our client, Viewbank Early Childhood Centre has been independently owned and operated since 1997. They are a purpose built centre specifically designed to ensure that each child is surrounded by a comfortable, secure and functional environment and are committed to providing high quality pedagogy and care that meets the needs of children and parents through excellence in service, innovation and leadership. They cater for up to 110 children and place a strong emphasis on ‘teamwork’. All educators work closely as a team across the Centre as a whole and structures their 6 children’s rooms into 3 ‘teams’; Family Grouping 1, Family Grouping 2, and the Pre-school Team.

Currently Viewbank Early Childhood Centre  has multiple roles available for educators at various levels including:

  • Diploma Qualified
  • Cert III
  • Room Leaders

Requirements for the role:

  • Understand how Viewbank Early Childhood Centre operates including the roles of the above named positions.
  • Awareness of, and sensitivity to, key issues within the Organisation.
  • Awareness and understanding of the Education & Care Services National Regulations 2011, the National Quality Framework and the EYLF.
  • Understanding & knowledge of the Organisations operational policies & procedures.
  • Communicate effectively across the organisation with staff and teams
  • Build effective relationships to enhance performance in the role
  • Ability to convey tolerance, sensitivity to family and children’s values and needs
  • Balance the need to work both autonomously and as a team member
  • Ability to respond to client queries with efficiency, care and courtesy

  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
  • Current Food Handling Certificate
  • Current child protection Certificate
